MIJI KIM

Miji Kim works with an interest in her own introspective attitude towards clumsiness and mistakes. I use self-reflective sentences or words floating around in my head as painting elements, and draw paintings by focusing on the performative movement of filling in lines at regular intervals on paper. Through the time I spend drawing, I honestly face my doubts about life and my concerns as a creator, and find my own center. Just as I gain confidence in myself and receive comfort through creation, I hope to convey comfort and support to people through my work and life.
