I am working based in Seoul.
My work is mainly inspired by nature or related objects and materials.
I mix different materials to create colors and create ceramic work that reveals the fine surface of the soil. Pay attention to the curves that occur as the sides pass within a simple shape. I work for the fun of finding beautiful lines in the silhouette and delicately transforming them while creating symmetrical shapes made on a potter's wheel. Therefore, the shape is kept as is without being obscured or changed by the glaze. After firing at a high temperature, the surface is finely ground so that it feels soft and attractive when touched. All sides are smoothly connected and harmonize with the texture of the mixed material. Light scattered by small particles on the surface, such as pebbles ground up in the sea, creates a subtle color.
