Collection: PARK JINSEON

Using ceramics as a medium, objects found and reinterpreted in records of everyday scenes are replaced with a single sculpture. I focus on embodying the process of visual interaction with rapidly volatile objects, such as the landscape of the city where we live and breathe, and the flow of momentary gaze.
Like a color field composition where lines are drawn and a surface is filled, the artist follows the silhouette of an object and continues with the formative work of dividing and filling the space by tracing imaginary lines and piling up clay. Although it seems static, it records the expressions of various everyday cities that seem to be hidden by elaborate rules.
