Collection: YEJISWORKPLACE

Writer and designer YEJI.
He presents works created at his workplace and studio, YEJISWORKPLACE.

YEJI seeks to look back on the author's own story and the events of everyone who can sympathize with the story through the process of putting a new expression on the subject. I love the facial expressions hidden in everyday life and the subtle yet uncomfortable emotions they cause, and interpret and express them as images somewhere between cult and kitsch. These images are captured in a direct or metaphorical way through illustration-based graphics, books, and ceramic sculptures.

Based in Seoul, his representative projects include 'The Creature Catcher', which tells the story of a collector who collects imaginary creatures, and 'BabyKwari', a font created for his young nephew by font design collective jamo.
