This is the Room of The JOSEON (Flower) series. Interior props using floral motifs found in palaces during the Joseon Dynasty provide an experience of remembering the past in modern daily life.

This is a Korean table rug inspired by the patterns of traditional Korean rice cake and the color of mother-of-pearl.
'Pelong', a Jeju word meaning 'to sparkle', refers to the mysterious color of ancient mother-of-pearl, and is a work inspired by the elegant light of traditional Korean mother-of-pearl and the minimalistic shapes of chrysanthemum pattern.

I wanted to make it possible to give and receive meaningful gifts by reorganizing the traditional Korean culture of chrysanthemum, a symbol of longevity and good luck, and mother-of-pearl, a symbol of wealth, into craft products with my own sensibility. We also wanted to enable people to comfortably experience Korean traditions, which once seemed far away, in their daily lives.
