The first magazine issue 266 of 2023 is “Typography and Ideas.” Typography is so important that it is no exaggeration to say that it is perhaps the most important element in visual design. Experimental lettering projects for posters or logotypes, letters created with a different purpose from well-polished text fonts, personal type face projects that are sometimes not released as font files, lettering work completed in a sketchbook, and self-directed letters. In order to creatively explore and overcome the limitations of letterforms, we invite designers, illustrators, and graphic artists to interpret the letters and numbers that make up the Latin alphabet in their own way and share the results together. We introduce interesting ideas and inspirational works surrounding typography and letters, such as completed or unfinished alphabet lettering in a very personal style, inspired by projects and daily life, and using various tools and materials.
