Hyejoo Moon shows the simultaneity of presence and absence through everyday objects, and visualizes questions about contradiction and absurdity.
The form of still life that emphasizes anonymity and labor symbolizes the appearance of groups that exist in institutional circles and social structures. The scattered gold fragments remind us of memories that were once precious. The group of dozens of still lifes is the artist's early work that shows the mechanism of recording and loss, and the inside is painted with transparent oil, so it can be used as objects such as vases and water bottles.
