This jamdokdae project began with the cute wisdom of mothers who quickly found the desired ‘jang’ from dozens of jangdokdae.

I put a large white stone on the lid for last year's soybean paste, a brown stone for the aged soybean paste, and a black stone for the particularly spicy red pepper paste.

Put a plain lid on the strawberry jam you eat every day, a spotted lid on the chestnut jam you eat sparingly, and a striped lid on the yuzu syrup your friend gave you.

The reason we insist on traditional pottery wheel molding is because the thickness varies depending on the temperature of touching the soil and the slight pressure.

This is because even with the same design, you can create a one-of-a-kind piece of work.

We used white porcelain, which is known to have the best strength, to create a simple yet timeless and elegant shape.

It is a craft work that is painstakingly put on a pottery wheel one by one and then fired twice at 1250°c.

So that it can not only contain the use, but also the emotions of the person who makes it and the person who uses it.
