This is ⟪32 Symbols⟫ No. 3. A total of 32 cards are included in the gold foil package. The front of the card has a graphic symbol and the back has collected text.

⟪32 Symbols⟫ started from an old notebook.

As I was passing through the dark and long tunnel, I began collecting and recording fragments of conversations I had with anonymous people I had accidentally encountered online. Even excerpts from specific books mentioned during the conversation. Sometimes I eavesdrop on their words and record them, and I collect and record the texts as if it were a blood transfusion, and read and rewrite the recorded texts dozens of times... I'm not sure what I wanted to discover in this repeated act of collecting and recording. However, I feel a little sad that this small note may have been the ‘only window’ to the world for me at the time. It's like a line from Malte's memoir that begins with 'My last hope was always a spear' that comes to mind every time I look at Rilke's self-portrait sloppily pasted on the cover of the notebook.

⟪32 Symbols⟫ is an archival production that collects some of the favorite phrases from these notes and binds them in graphic card format. Starting with issue 1 in 2018, issue 2 came out in 2019, and issue 3, the final chapter, came out this year. Starting with this issue, we will tentatively conclude the Symbols series.
However, as long as there are still various symbols floating around without settling somewhere in our lives, this work will one day suddenly change only its external form and be recreated in a different style or format. These are times when I don't have the time or energy to think at all, but as I read, think, and write diligently, I will pick up the signals of symbols that are scattered here and there in a small notebook. Let's meet again someday when these things are about to be organized into some independent statement.

(*What is different from the previous issues 1 and 2 is that the source of the conversation (ID, date, website) was previously numbered on the inside of the card package with the corresponding number for each card, but as time has passed, most of the attached links have been replaced. Since it no longer exists, the source information has been removed and replaced with a hidden keyword on the back of the card)
