The artist also sees this as an extension of his work. He says that the appreciation of others accumulates in images created from personal experience, adding to the vitality of the work.

FEELING BEFORE SEEING is a selection of images during a 9-year period featuring photos from various projects. Young Chul Kim, in accordance with his exhibition, prepared each image by intentionally removing its title and location, seeking to give the reader and viewer an opportunity to interpret the image as they wish. He views this approach as an extension of his work. The appreciation and interpretation of the viewers adds and builds up the images and adds vitality to the work, making it a constantly evolving piece.
