Author's Note
Recently, I am conducting research on works using metal powder as pigment. In recent works, copper carbonate, nickel oxide, cobalt carbonate, cobalt oxide, cobalt chloride, aluminum oxide, and chromium oxide were used. By using metal powders broken down into the smallest units in my work, I explore changes in properties depending on temperature and humidity, and the texture and color that appear when different metal particles are visually alloyed. Through this, we aim to approach reality by sensing and experiencing the material called metal as fully as possible.

I inevitably sense reality in a distorted way, and through this, I draw a landscape where reality and distortion are mixed. Enter the invisible realm through synesthesia, which connects the five senses, and new senses that go beyond this. I try to find something by groping around little by little. What I came into contact with like that would ultimately be another distortion, but perhaps it was the true reality I was desperately looking for, or a reality in a different realm from what I previously thought of as reality.
