The dark night of a cold city evokes very unfamiliar emotions. Such feelings may be a similar conflict to those experienced when trying to forcefully domesticate animals that refuse to be environmentally domesticated. To me, rather than being an aesthetically created space, a garden is seen as someone else's private property to which access is blocked, similar to the unfamiliar air of a dark night. At the same time, the colors, movement lines, inside and outside of their garden, and the changing form of the structure come across as a contradictory space and an unrealistic world. The night garden expressed in embroidery is a metaphorical place and becomes a stage for us who have not evolved.
