A Shaker oval box is one of the woodwork items made by the Shakers who were active in the United States in the early 18th century.

With the ideal that “beauty lies in usefulness,” we created the “Shaker Style,” which reduced decoration and pursued functionality and practicality.

The most famous of them all, the Shaker box, is still loved today.

MANEW was inspired by this shaker box and recreated it in leather.

The Leather Shaker box is a storage box made using only leather.

It is made from thick and hard Italian leather, about 2mm thick.

The joint part of the shaker box resembles the shape of a swallow's tail, so it is called a swallow tail.

The shaker box holds this swallowtail and body together with copper nails.

MANEW's unique swallowtail was created by carving thick leather in a three-dimensional manner.

It's also made using American-made copper nails that are used in real Shaker boxes.

Because it was made by taking advantage of the leather's unique wrinkles, it has a different charm from the original wooden box.

As time goes by, leather develops its own unique texture and color, and becomes more and more beautiful depending on the user's touch.

The Leather Shaker box will naturally age with use, revealing a unique personality tailored to the user.
